EligibilityTo be eligible to apply for admission into the Programme, the candidates should

(i) be at least Graduates from any recognized University

(ii) have interest in entrepreneurship-social or commercial- even though currently not functioning as entrepreneurs

(iii) possess basic computer literacy

(iv) Although no age bar has been stipulated, it is expected that the candidates applying for PGP-CEM are physically and mentally fit to go through a typical XLRI programme.

(v) Eligible applicants will be subject to a process of Personal Interview and, if necessary, Group Discussion for final selection of candidates for admission into the Programme

(vi) Being called for Personal Interview and Group Discussions etc., will not necessarily entitle a candidate to admission into the Programme

How To Apply
To get admission into PGP-CEM, candidates have to submit the Application Form both Online and through Hardcopy, along with one recent passport size photograph pasted on the application form.

1. To get admission into PGP-CEM, candidates have to submit the Application Form both Online and through Hardcopy, along with one recent passport size photograph pasted on the application form.
 
2. To register Online Application for PGP-CEM candidates are requested to click on Apply For Registration.
3. A demand draft for Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of "XLRI, Jamshedpur" payable at "Jamshedpur" is required as application fee.

All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) 2011

Veterinary Council of India invites applications for entrance examination for filling up 15% of total number of seats to be filled on Merit in each Government Veterinary College in India (except from Jammu & Kashmir State) from Indian Nationals for admission to 1st year of B.V.Sc. & A.H. course for academic session 2011-2012.

Eligibility:
An applicant is eligible for admission to the AIPVT if the following criteria are met with: -

Nationality : He/She is an Indian national. Since the provisions of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 have not been extended to the State of Jammu & Kashmir, candidates from that State shall not be eligible to appear in the said examination unless they submit an Affidavit in enclosed Proforma on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 10/- duly attested by Metropolitan Magistrate/ First Class Judicial Magistrate to the effect that: - They are not eligible to compete for B.V.Sc. & A.H. seats in the State of Jammu & Kashmir and hence, not eligible to seek admission in Veterinary Colleges of Jammu & Kashmir and they are not domicile of Jammu & Kashmir.

Note : Applications not accompanied with the required Affidavit shall be rejected without any further reference in this matter. Such Affidavits submitted by the candidates shall be verified and if found to be false, the admission of all such candidates shall be cancelled and legal proceedings initiated against them.

Essential Qualification: He/She has passed :-

The Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study the last two year of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Education Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 (years) educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education. OR .

The intermediate Science examination in science from a recognized University/ Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (which shall include a practical test in these subjects) and English.

Minimum marks: To be eligible for AIPVT candidate must have passed any of the qualifying examinations as enumerated above. Further, he/she should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for General Category in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at 10+2 / intermediate Science Examination. Provided also that to be eligible for AIPVT the candidate must have passed the aforesaid subjects individually. For the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ the Scheduled Tribes or other special category (Other Backward Classes) of students as specified by the Government from time to time, marks required for admission shall be 10% less than that prescribed for General Category.

Note : • A candidate who is taking the qualifying examination prior to the AIPVT, or whose result is awaited, may also apply and take the examination but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required percentage of marks as per the Minimum Standard of Veterinary Education Degree Course (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Regulations, 2008 on or before 30th June, 2011 and submit the documentary proof during counseling, if selected.

In pursuance of the Hon'ble Supreme Court order dated 10.4.2008 and according to the instructions issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development vide O.M.NO. 1-1/2005-UlA/847 dated 20.4.2008 it has been decided to implement OBC reservation in respect of seats being contributed to the All India Quota by the Central Education Institutions only.

Age : He/She has attained or will attain the age of Seventeen (17) years as on 31st December, 2011. Candidates attaining seventeen years on 1st of January, 2012 or later will not be eligible to appear at the AIPVT.

Thus, there is an urgent need for establishing an institution of excellence to provide high quality education and training to young persons for shouldering the managerial responsibilities in the infrastructure sector. There is also an urgent need to conduct relevant research and provide appropriate consultancy services to the organisations directly or indirectly associated with the Infrastructure and related sectors. With a view to cater to this crucial need, Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management (AIIM) has been
established. The main objective of AIIM is to provide high quality education and training to bright and aspirational
executives for shouldering managerial responsibilities in the Infrastructure and Allied Sectors. AIIM campus is
located at Ahmedabad on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway. Fees
Programme Fee for the Third Batch (2011-12) will be INR 12.80 Lakhs. The programme fee includes tuition fees, basic programme material, library & network charges, hostel accommodation on single occupancy basis and the costs of the Study Visits within India and overseas. More specifically, the Programme Fee does not include the expenses on food and the cost of Laptop, which will have to be borne by the participants.

The respective Colleges are recognized by U.G.C (University Grants Commission) / M.C.I. (Medical Council of India) /D.C.I. (Dental Council of India) for both Undergradaute and post graduate courses.

Eligibility Criteria for appearing the Entrance Test. :
Candidate seeking admission to postgraduate Medicine/Dentistry course should hold MBBS /BDS degree of recognized University by MCI/DCI.
A candidate who has completed one year compulsory rotating internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 30 April, 2011 can appear for PIMS-AICET-PG 2011 .
All such candidates will have to submit the documentary proof, from the Principal / Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship along with the manual application form, failing which the application shall be rejected.
A candidate should have obtained permanent registration with MCI/DCI (as the case may be) or any state council. If candidate does not have such registration , he should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission.
Candidates who are previously registered and pursuing/completed the PG degree course or have obtained PG degree, are not eligible for appearing at PIMS-AICET-PG 2011.
Candidates previously admitted to PG degree course and resigned/left the seat are not eligible for appearing at PIMS-AICET-PG 2011 .
Candidates who have completed Medicine postgraduate diploma course or would be completing by 31.03.2011 will be eligible for PIMS-AICET-PG 2011 for admission to Medicine postgraduate degree in the same subject only.

ELIGIBILITY : QUALIFICATIONS - Passed Intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together – a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% for General-PC candidates and 40% marks for OBC*/SC/ST and respective PC candidates.

DISTRIBUTION OF SEATS: B.Sc. Nursing (60 seats) : General - 30; OBC* – 16; SC – 9 and ST – 5;

B.Pharm. (Ay.) (30 paid seats) for Admission at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkaccha, Mirzapur under IMS-BHU: General – 15; OBC* – 8; SC – 5 and ST – 2. Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), a statutory body under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India, is entrusted with the responsibility of standardizing and monitoring of training programmes in the field of Rehabilitation and Special Education. Applications are invited for admission to the following Diploma Courses offered by the RCI recognized institutions to train special teachers to teach children with special needs, through an All India Online Aptitude Test:

1. Diploma in Education-Special Education (Mental Retardation)

2. Diploma in Education-Special Education (Deaf & Hard of Hearing)

3. Diploma in Education-Special Education (Visual Impairment)

An All India Online Aptitude Test for Admission to the above mentioned three Diploma Courses for the academic session 2011-12 is being conducted under the aegis of RCI as per following schedule:

A landmark judgement by the Hon'ble Delhi High Court has resulted in increased demand for trained special teachers to be appointed two in each school of NCT of Delhi. Hon'ble High Court has also directed to grant equivalence to B.Ed. (SE) with B.Ed. (General) and D.Ed. (SE) with D.Ed./TTC for the purpose of appointment of special teachers in all the schools in the State as well as schools run by local bodies of Delhi. Similar demand is expected to be created in other States and UTs with National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) granting approval to B.Ed. (SE) and D.Ed. (SE) qualifications for appointment of elementary teachers in general schools.

(a) Passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by Central/State Board of Education.
(b) Appeared/Appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by Central/State Board of Education.

DEGREE PROGRAMS:

a) B.Tech
Pass or appearing (in the year 2010)at 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics OR Pass or appearing (in the year 2010) at the final year of three year Diploma programme in Engg. / Technology.

b) MBBS and BDS
Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2010) or any equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Schedules Tribes and Other Backward Classes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination can be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. As per MCI & DCI guidelines candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. For SC / ST and OBC candidates the limit is minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test.

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 year and the upper age limit is 25 year as on 31.12.2010. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of SC and ST.

c) B. Pharm
Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2010) with Physics and Chemistry along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology. OR Pass or appearing (in the year 2010) at the final year of Diploma programme in Pharmacy.

d) BHMCT
Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2010) in any discipline.

e) B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic)
Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2010) with at least 45% marks in aggregate (English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) and 40% marks in aggregate for SC / ST and OBC candidates only.

Age Limit : The lower age limit is 17 year as on 31.12.2010.

f) B.Sc. in Nursing (Post Basic)
Passed GNM examination, and registered with concerned State Nursing Council. Candidate must be a member of TNAI.

PG DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

a) M.Tech.
Pass or appearing at B.E. / B.Tech. / AMIE / MCA / M.Sc. in the respective discipline or equivalent. For M.Tech. in Biotechnology candidates having B.Tech. / B.E. in Biotechnology or related fields / M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science or equivalent / MBBS / B.Pharm. / B.V.Sc. with Biology as a subject at +2 level are eligible. Candidates having MCA degree are eligible for M.Tech in Comp. Sc. & Engg., Comp. Sc. & Data Processing, and those with M.Sc. (Maths.) degree are eligible for M.Tech in Comp. Sc. & Data Processing. Candidates with M.Sc. (Electronics) are eligible for M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering and M.Tech. in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. M.Sc. in Computer Science and IT are eligible for M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering and IT respectively. GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form. Admission into M.Tech. programmes will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2010 or GATE and personal interview taken together. After the interview, a separate merit list will be prepared.

b) MCA
Pass or appearing (in the year 2010) at three year Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognised University having Mathematics at 10+2 level or at +3 level. Candidates having Business mathematics at +2 or +3 level are not eligible.

c) MBA/MHTM/MHA
Pass or appearing (in the year 2010) three year Bachelor Degree in Science, Commerce and Arts / B.E. / B.Tech. / MBBS / BHMS / BAMS / BDS / BPT / BHMCT / BBA / BCA examination or equivalent in 2010 from any recognised University having at least 50% of marks.

Candidate having a minimum composite score of 500 in MAT or any other equivalent test are exempted from appearing SAAT-2010. They are required only to submit the filled up application form.Admission will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2010 or MAT followed by group discussion and personal interview (GD / PI), all taken together.

d) M.Pharm.
Pass or appearing (in the year 2010) at B.Pharm examination from any recognized University. The candidate having valid GATE score can apply.

e) M.Sc. in Industrial Biotechnology
Pass or appearing (in the year 2010) at three year Bachelor degree in Science OR four year Bachelor course in Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary / Engineering / Technology / Medicine (MBBS/BDS) from any recongnised University.

f) M.Sc. in Nursing
Passed B.Sc. Nursing (Basic / Post Basic) Degree with 55% aggregate from a Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of one year experience either in teaching or clinical area but they should be registered in State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.

The candidates who have passed on or after 2008 are only eligible. A final year student can also appear provisionally. There is no minimum percentage requirement for taking the test.

Candidates have to register online through website: http://aima-ind.org/ and payment has to be done vide Demand Draft for Rs.1750/- (Rs One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty only) drawn in favour of 'All India Management Association' Payable at New Delhi. The payment can also be done through Credit/Debit cards.

Print out of the online registration along with required documents are to be sent to Office of AIMA, Post Box No. 4334, Kalkaji Head Post Office, New Delhi-110019.

Last Date for Online Registration: 15th January 2011 (Saturday)
Last Date for submission of registration form along with Demand Draft at AIMA,New Delhi: 20th January 2011 (Thursday)
