Consequent to the BASELIOS MATHEWS II COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, Sasthamcotta, hosting the International Conference on Emerging Technology Trends (ICETT 2011) on "Cloud Computing" in association with Microsoft and cosponsored by vmware, intel, RITTAL, HP, Cisco, Schneider, Pacific Controls, and others, on 25th and 26th March 2011 and the reciprocal arrangements that the College has entered into with the cosponsoring and participating organizations about the various training / placement projects for the students, the College is now in a position to GUARANTEE 100% PLACEMENT for the students graduating from the College. Furthermore, ALL the students admitted in 2011 for the B.Tech. degree courses in COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING, ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING and ELECTRONICS & INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING will be receiving special training and guidance through different academies like Microsoft, CISCO, HP, vmware, IBM, etc., in Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation and Simulation Softwares during their second, third and fourth years, to enable them to bridge the gap between the curriculum and actual industry requirements and thereby equip themselves to take up their placement responsibilities immediately after completing their final semester examinations. Eligibility:
Candidates for admission to the B. Tech. degree course shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or 12 Standard V.H.S.E., C.B.S.E., I.C.S.E. or any examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto, with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, and obtain not less than 50% in mathematics and 50% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, or a Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Education, Kerala or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto, after undergoing an institutional course of at least three years, securing a minimum of 50% marks in the final Diploma Examination, subject to the usual concessions allowed for backward classes and other communities as specified from time to time.
