DSM Diploma Program Application Form - 2nd Batch

The Program

The program is open to B.E/B.Tech (Full Time/ Part Time), ME/M.Tech. (Full Time/ Part Time) students,Research Scholars and Faculty members of DTU.
Pedagogy includes lectures, case studies, role plays, simulated exercises, term project etc.


• Diploma in Management program will have five subjects (three core and two electives) and a Project.
Students undertaking few subjects i.e. not completing the requirements of Diploma in Management shall be awarded with Certificate in Management mentioning the subjects undertaken by them.


Subjects offered:

CoRe
1. leadership, team building and conflict management
To acquaint the students with the interpersonal issues, group cohesion and team management.
2. financial analysis for decision making and consulting
To make students understand the use of Financial Indicators and help in doing accurate financial
analysis which is a fundamental element of growth, strategy and overall success.
3. supply Chain, logistics and retail management & business communication
• To familiarize students with SC Strategy, IT in SCM, Transportation, Warehousing and Inventory
Management, e-SCM, VMI, 3PL, CRM etc.
To make students learn the act of communicating and lasting impression.


Electives
4. Marketing and creating customer value
• To familiarize studentswith customer value propositions, consumer behavior and appropriate strategies to
enhance and foster customer delight.
5. international business environment
To make students gain an insight into the cross cultural and global issues, their challenges and perspectives.
6. Project Management
To facilitate the studentsto understand and implement the most important part of a project or assignment.
7. technology and innovation Management
To make studentsfamiliarize with the variousfacets of innovation management and technological dimension.
Batch size per subject      :    Maximum 40 students,  
       Minimum 10 students
no. of hrs per subject     :     30 hrs  + term Project

Eligibility:

For UG students after IInd Semester and for PG students after Ist Semester. Ex students are not
eligible.

Class schedule:

Classes will be held at DSM, DTU from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on all working days and Saturdays/ Sundays, if required.

Fee Structure:

• Per subject          Rs.   5000 Per student
• Complete Course   Rs. 25000 Per student

IMPORTANT DATES:

Release of Application Form 25th April, 2012 (Wednesday) 
Last Date of submitting the Application  8th August 2012  (Wednesday) 
Issue of Admission Slips 13th  August 2012  (Monday) 
Last Date for Depositing the fees 22nd August 2012  (Monday) 
Commencement of Classes 29th August 2012  (Monday)
August 2012  (Monday)


Application Forms can be obtained from the office of Delhi school of Management/can be downloaded from
the website www.dce.edu and to be submitted at the Office of the Delhi School of Management from 10 am to 4 pm on all working days along with Demand Draft/ Pay Order of Rs. 500/- in favour of “the Registrar, Delhi technological university, Delhi” Payable at Delhi by 8th August, 2012 (wednesday) (4 pm). Incomplete application, due to any reason, is liable for rejection by the University.
