Shiv Nadar University School of Engineering (SNUSE) has commenced from August 2011 under the aegis of the Shiv Nadar University (SNU). SNUSE is a pioneering effort of the Shiv Nadar Foundation (SNF), in the field of higher education in North India.
SNUSE aims to provide an international ambience, in a local setting with innovative and engaging teaching methods, international guest speakers and key partnerships in research. The institute encourages group learning and will provide value-added hard and soft skills workshops, along with key internships each summer.
Located at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh and set amidst an integrated, self-sustaining, fully residential green campus, SNUSE aims to combine research and education at the undergraduate level itself. Drawing upon the rich experience of the SNF in setting up the SSN College of Engineering, the SSN School of Management and Computer Applications and the SSN School of Advanced Software Engineering (in a tie-up with Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA) on a 250 acre campus near Chennai, SNUSE shall be designed to help students get a well-rounded academic and co-curricular experience.
SNUSE currently offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programmes in five streams of engineering -- Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. SNUSE also provides meritorious applicants with scholarships, internships and other opportunities to enable them to get the finest education.
