Admissions 2012-2013
Applications are invited by Indo-Swiss Training Centre, Chandigarh for admission to the following three courses of CSIO - Indo-Swiss Training Centre, Chandigarh commencing in 3rd September, 2012:
(1) 3-year Diploma in Instrument Technology
(2) 4-year Advanced Diploma in Die and Mould Making
(3) 4-year Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics and Industrial Automation
Eligibility :
Candidate must have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Science and English from any recognized school / board. Those who have appeared in the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply.
Age : Those born on or after September 1993 (19 September 1990 for SC/ST) are eligible to apply.
Charges :
Cost of Application Form including Entrance Exam Fee : Rs.1000/- (Rs. 500/-for SC/ST)
Payment to be made as Crossed Demand Draft issued on or after 15.05.2012, in favour of "Director, CSIO" payable at Chandigarh.
Application :
Application form along with detailed relevant information is available at www.csio.res.in w.e.f. 15-05-2012. The application form is required to be filled ONLINE Demand draft for requisite fee must be ready with the applicant before filling up the application form online. Last date for online application submission is 21-06-2012 upto 5.00 PM.
A print out of the submitted application form with a passport size coloured photograph affixed at appropriate place duly attested by the gazetted officer / principal and demand draft for requisite fee is required to be posted to "The Principal, Indo-Swiss Training Centre, CSIO, Sector-30C, Chandigarh -160 030" so as to reach on or before June 30, 2012 by 5.00 pm.
Two additional identical unattested photographs (as pasted on application form), attested photocopies of certificates are to be enclosed with above said print of application form. Photographs should not be more than three months old & face should be clearly visible. Applicant must put his left hand thumb impression at appropriate place in the print out of the application form. Thumb impression may also be taken at the time of entrance examination and counseling. The valid email id of the applicant / parents / guardian is mandatory for applying and future communication.
The Entrance Examination will be held on 12 August, 2012 (Sunday) at Chandigarh.
