Admission Notice
National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB), an autonomous body under the administrative control of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt, of India, is devoted to Research & Development, technology transfer, consultancy and training for cement and construction industries.
Applications are invited for admission to One Year (August 2012 to July 2013) Post Graduate Diploma in Cement Technology offered by NCB. Ail candidates of the previous batches have been absorbed in the cement industry.
Eligibility: B.EVB.Tech. (Chemical Engg.):or M Sc. (Chemistry) with minimum 60% of marks or equivalent grade.
Annual Fee: For Industry-sponsored
Candidates - Rs.250000/- (including tuition fee, boarding/lodging, technical visits and other institutional facilities).
For Non-sponsored Candidates - Rs.80000/- (including tuition fee and institutional facilities).
Interested candidates should apply latest by 25 June 2012, giving personal information including category (General/Sponsored/SC/ ST/Others), address for correspondence, Contact no., e-mail address, educational qualifications (10th Class onwards), working experience, if any.
Sponsored candidates should send their application through their employers. Provisions exist for reservations for SC/ST and persons with disabilities as per Government rules/instructions. Certificate from appropriate authority may be furnished for reserved categories.
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- for candidates falling under reserved categories) in the form of crossed Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of National Council for Cement and Building Materials, payable at Faridabad, should be sent along with the duly filled in application form.
