CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR GOVT. REGONISED (NCVT APPROVED) REGULAR CTS SKILL TRAINING COURSES FOR CLASS X / XII PASSED WOMEN CANDIDATES, FOR AUGUST 2012 – 13 SESSION
I. Applications are invited from women candidates for admission to the following Institutes for the above courses as per the details given in the Table below here under:

III. RECOGNITION these courses are conducted under the aegis of National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and would be awarded recognized NCVT certificates on successful completion and passing the examination
IV. HOSTEL FACILITIES are available at NVTI Noida and RVTIs at Bangaluru, Mumbai, Jaipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Tura, Kolkata, Panipat, Vadodara and Allahabad. For RVTI Indore, the candidates shall have to make their own arrangements.
V. ADMISSION PROCEDURE
1. Separate applications as per proforma (Annexure I) may be submitted for each course. The Proforma may be downloaded from the Institutes/DGET website.( www.dget@nic.in)
2. Applications complete in all respects may be submitted personally or sent by post to the Institute wherein admission is sought ,so as to reach the Institute by 4 P.M. of 2nd July, 2012
3. Age: Minimum 14 years & no upper age limit
4. Admission shall be made on merit basis and detailed breakup shall be given in the Merit List(s).
5. D.G.E&T. reserves the right to discontinue/postpone/or not to start the training programmers in any Of the trades and increase/decrease the seating capacity at its discretion without assigning any reason.
6. Merit list shall be displayed on the Notice Board and institutes and DGET website at 11 AM on 12th
July, 2012.
7. List of selected candidates for admission would be displayed at Institute’s Notice Board at 11 AM on 17th July, 2012 and Institutes and DGE&T website. Further select list shall be released similarly on every Friday upto 30th August 2012 subject to availability of seats. Counseling & admission would be done on the same day on the basis of candidates present and signing attendance sheet at 11 AM to 12 AM
8. Selected Candidates should come with Fee/charges for six months & Original Certificates and Medical Certificate of Fitness.9. Admission shall close by 30th Aug., 2012 but may close early if seats are filled up.
10. Fee/Charges Payable:
(i) Registration Fee Rs 50 in cash at counter against receipt or by crossed IPO/DD in favour of PAO DGET, New Delhi/Chennai/Kolkata/Mumbai as the case may be if sent by post/courier. No registration fee is payable by SC/ST candidates.
(ii) Admission Fee : Rs. 100/- for general candidates. Rs. 25/- for SC/ST candidates
(iii) Tuition Fees : Rs. 150/- per month for general candidates. Rs. 50/- per month for SC/ST candidates.
(iv) Gymkhana Fee : Rs. 100/- for general candidates. No fee for SC/ST candidates
(v) Caution Money(refundable) : Rs. 250/- at the time of admission
(vi) Hostel Service Charges : Rs. 50/- (one time) at the time of admission
(vii) Hostel Room Rent : Rs. 100/- per month
(viii) Hostel Caution Money(refundable) : Rs. 125/- at the time of admission
11. Reservation of Seats
(i) Scheduled Caste : 15%
(ii) Scheduled Tribe : 7.5%
(iii) Physically Handicapped : 3%
(Who have aptitude and are otherwise fit to undergo the required training)
(iv) Other Backward Classes (OBC) : 27%
(v) Ward / Widow of Defence personnel: One seat per section/unit and up to a maximum of 10 seats for a single Institute having more than 8 trades for the wards/widows of Defence personnel, as per
the following order of priority:
(vi) Children of Deceased/Disabled Ex-Servicemen including those killed/Disabled during peacetime. / Children of Ex-serviceman. / Children of serving Jawans / Children of serving Officers.
NB:
(i) For seeking reservation, candidate has to enclose copies of appropriate proof from competent authority.
(ii) Any changes in the display of the list(s) due to administrative/local reasons shall be duly notified in the local Press through Advertisement and / or press release /on the Notice Board and website.
(iii) Cut off date for eligibility would be the last date for submission of applications. However, in case of any qualifying Board/ University etc has not declared their result before the last date, such
applicants may apply but their admission would be considered against the vacant seats after eligible candidates as on the cut off date are considered and seats if any remain vacant till the last date
of admission viz 30.8.2012.
