Applications have been invited by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations for the Entrance Examination for admission to M D Homoeopathy Courses for the year 2012-'13 in the Government Homoeopathic Medical Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode.

Eligibility for Admission:

Nationality: Applicant should be an Indian Citizen.

Academic Qualifications: BHMS Degree (Direct/Graded) or its equivalent, declared thereto, by the Central Council of Homoeopathy. Candidates who have completed the prescribed internship before the date of interview for allotment alone are eligible for admission subject to the condition that they should produce the Medical Council Registration Certificate at the time of interview for allotment. Candidates who have passed the final year examination with more than three chances are not eligible for admission.

Age: The candidates otherwise eligible for admission should not be more than 45 years as on 01.01.2012 subject to a relaxation of a maximum of five years in the case of SC/ST candidates and Teachers of Homoeopathic Medical Colleges/Research Officers of Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy and a maximum of three years in the case of Rural Service Quota candidates.

Selection and Entrance Examination: Selection of Candidates except for the seats reserved under Rural Service Quota and for Teachers working in the private as well as government homoeopathic medical colleges in Kerala will be made on the basis of the rank in an Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) at Thiruvananthapuram on 25-03-2012 (Sunday). The Entrance Examination will consist of two papers, each of two hours duration and each Paper having 150 Objective (Multiple Choice) type questions. Paper-I will consist of Pre-clinical and Para-clinical subjects and Paper-II will consist of Clinical subjects.

Online Application form & Application Fees: Candidates seeking admission to the course shall apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 25-02-2012 onwards. Separate Applications have to be submitted by General Quota and Service Quota candidates. The Prospectus for this course can also be downloaded from this website. The application forms and prospectus will not be available from the colleges or from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Candidates should take a printout of the online application submitted, put the signature wherever necessary and should affix a photograph self attested by the candidate.

General Quota candidates will have to remit the Application fee of Rs.800/- (for SC/ST candidates Rs.400/-) in any branch of State Bank of Travancore using the Bank Chalan available with the printout of the online application submitted. Candidates outside Kerala can remit the required fee by way of a Demand Draft for Rs.800/- drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram payable at Thiruvananthapuram. The application fee for Service Quota candidates is Rs.800/- and can be remitted by way of a Demand Draft in favour of the Principal and controlling officer, Government Homoeopathic Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. The application fee once remitted will not be refunded.

Submission of Application: Those candidates, whose selection is based on the Entrance Examination should forward the printout of the online application submitted along with supporting documents mentioned in Clause 10 of the Prospectus and the Original Bank Chalan / Demand Draft to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala – 695 001, either by Registered post / Speed Post / Hand delivery, so as to reach him on or before the last date of receipt of application. Issue of Admit Cards: The Admit Cards for the candidates appearing for Entrance Examination will be available online in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 20-03-2012 onwards. The candidates may take the printout of the Admit Card which can be used for identification of the candidate in the examination hall.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will conduct the Entrance Examination, publish a Rank list of candidates based on merit as assessed in the Entrance Examination and forward the same to Chairman and Convenor of the Selection Committee. The Selection Committee will make the allotments and forward the Select list to the Colleges concerned for making admission.

A candidate is declared eligible for Indira PGDM Courses, if he / she have passed the degree examination of a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks and minimum 45% marks for backward class candidates from Maharashtra State only. Arch., a candidate must have passed intermediate examination of UP Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate in compulsory and, optional subjects as given in information Brochure of UPSEE-2012. The candidate is essentially required to pass in each subject of the compulsory and optional subjects mentioned in the information Brochure of UPSEE - 2012 without grace marks.

A candidate possessing three year Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central/ State Govt., securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate is also eligible for admission to the first year ot B.Arch. only. The candidates will have to appear in the Entrance Examination
UPSEE-2012 for admission to first year of B.Arch. (paper - 4) as mentioned above.

For admission to the first year of MBA course, candidate must have passed bachelors degree course of minimum three year duration from any recognized university of India. All the aforesaid admission into 5 year B.Arch. degree course are to be subject to passing NATA conducted by the council of architecture and the minimum passing score for NATA is 40% for all categories of candidates. NATA shall be a prerequisite for admission into B.Arch course, but the ranking shall be on the basis of OJEE-2012 ranking and admission to the course is based on the OJEE-2012 rank.

For admission to 1 Year Medical Stream (MBBS/BDS):

AGE: Not less than 17 years as on 31st December, 2012.

Minimum Qualification:

(a) MBBS /BDS/BAMS: The Candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e. ISC/ Intermediate or its equivalent. After a period of 12 years of study. The last two years of such study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a Recognized Board/University and must have passed in all the above subjects.

The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together in the qualifying examination In respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBCs the marks obtained in be Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together in the qualifying examination be 40% in lieu of 50% for general Candidates.

(b) BHMS :- The candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be eligible.

The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination (XII) and result is not yet available are also eligible to appear in the common pre –medical entrance examination but such candidates shall submit the mark sheet of the qualifying examination (XII) on and before the date specified in the information brochure.

Application forms to be submitted online are invited by University of Kashmir, Srinagar from the eligible candidates for admission to the BEd / MEd programmes through Distance Mode for Kashmir and Jammu division and DPPTT for Kashmir Division only for session 2012.

Eligibility
(a) (BEd Programme)
i. Admission to BEd course in the Directorate of Distance Education shall be open to those candidates who have obtained Bachelor’s Degree with not less than 45% marks (40% for Leh and Kargil only) at graduation level from the University of Kashmir or from any other University recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Kashmir.

ii. Bachelor’s degree obtained by the candidates under 10+2+3 pattern in different system
i.e. one, two, three subjects as against the four subject system, in each part of the undergraduate course, applicable in Kashmir University, has been granted equivalence to the corresponding degrees of the University with not less than 45% marks (40% for Leh and Kargil only) at graduation level.

iii. Candidate having passed graduation under 10+2+2 scheme and is presently working as teacher in the Govt. or Govt. recognized school with at least two years teaching experience is also eligible for seeking admission to the BEd Programme with not less than 45% marks (40% for Leh and Kargil only) at graduation level.

(b) MEd Programme
BEd with minimum 55% marks (Experience not Required).

(c) Diploma in Pre-Primary Teachers Training Programme (DPPTT) (for Kashmir Division only.)
1. The in-service teachers having passed 10+2 examination with minimum 40% marks and having put in at least two years of continuous service in the Government or Private, Govt. recognized school / institution at the time of submitting application form are eligible (Experience to be attached).
2. A candidate having secured 45% marks or above in aggregate in 10+2 examination shall also be eligible for seeking admission to the course.

Selection:
The selection of BEd & MEd will be made purely on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination i.e., Graduation for BEd and BEd for MEd. However, the criteria to determine merit for selection of MEd programme will be out of 100 points which will be calculated as under:

The percentage of marks obtained by a candidate in the BEd examination shall be worked out with the weightage of: Theory = 70% Practice Teaching = 30%

Admission to DPPTT course shall be based on the merit obtained by a candidate at 10+2 level examination

Submission of Online Form / Sale of Prospectus:
The Directorate of Distance Education has started the online submission of forms for BEd / MEd / DPPTT session 2012. After log on to the website, candidates will fill up pre filled application form by entering registration number of University for BEd / MEd and Board registration for DPPTT respectively and proceed further for filling the necessary information and will submit the preference for Jammu or Kashmir chapter (for BEd / MEd courses only). Once the form is filled up, the candidate will get the print out of the pre-filled form along with auto generated bank slip of fees Rs 250. The candidates will deposit the prescribed fee in any branch of J&K Bank on the slip which shall be automatically generated with the pre-filled-form against the account number 0007010100002622 payable at J&K Bank Hazratbal. After depositing the fees, the candidates are advised to collect the prospectus against depositor’s copy of bank slip (original) on first cum first serve basis at below mentioned places:

Candidates are advised to submit the hard copy of pre-filled application form and Original University copy of Bank slip along with attested Photostat copy of marks certificate of qualifying examination/s (10+2 marks certificate for DPPTT, BG 1st, 2nd and 3rd year marks certificate for BEd and BEd marks certificate for MEd) and experience certificate (if required) at following places during the dates given below.
