The University of Allahabad shall hold an Entrance Test on May 29th, 2012 for selecting students for admission to its self-financing B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) : Five Year Integrated Course. The Students who have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST) at 10+2 or 11+1 or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Academic Council of University of Allahabad and the Bar Council of India, and General Category who are not more than 20 years of age and SC/ST and other backward classes who are not more than 22 years of age an on 1st July 2012, may be admitted to the BA LLB (Hons.) 5 year integrated Course. Students whose results are awaited may also apply, but their candidates shall stand cancelled if they do not qualify, or if their results are not declared, or if they fail to produce their marks sheet at the time of admission.

The Application Form and Prospectus will be available online and can also be obtained personally from the Pravesh Bhawan, University of Allahabad, Allahabad from March 24th, 2012 to April 25th, 2012 between 10:00 am and 04:00 p.m. on payment of Rs. 1200/- General/OBC (Rs. 600/- in case of SC/ST/PH in cash). Duly filled in Application Forms can be deposited Online or personally from March 24th, 2012 to April 25th, 2012 on the counters of the Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad on all working days between 10 a.m to 4 p.m.

The Admit Card will be made available only Online from 8th May, 2012.

Note: The candidates are required to get preferably coloured printout of their Admit Cards; else they will not be permitted to enter the examination centre.

About The Institute
The Institute of Professional Studies was set up in May 2000 by the Executive Council of the University of Allahabad under Section 44 of the Act. How to obtain Admission 2012 Registration Form?
Online Registration can be done at the University’s website www.auadmission.co.in and candidates can submit it without having to visit the University for collecting and submitting the form. OMR Forms along with information booklet will also be available from Pravesh Bhawan, Chaitham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad-211002 U.P. on all working days between 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on cash payment of:
1) For UG & PG Courses: Rs. 600/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 300/- for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribe and Differentially Able applicants.

2) For Diploma: Rs. 300/- for all candidates.

1. To get admission into Certificate course through Satellite medium, candidates have to submit the Application Form both Online and Hardcopy, along with one recent passport size photograph pasted in the application form.
2. To register Online Application for the course PGCBM / HRM candidates are requested to click on Apply For Registration.
3. DD details are required to complete the registration processes.
After successful registration candidates has to fill SOP online with the help of their XSAT ID and password, which they will receive on their e-mail ID.

The Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram (RCC), now in its 30th year of service to the nation, is an autonomous institution sponsored jointly by the Govt. of Kerala and the Govt. of India. RCC is an internationally acclaimed centre for cancer treatment and research and caters to the population of the state of Kerala and adjoining parts of Tamil Nadu. Handling over 1.80 lakhs patients including over 14,000 new cancer cases annually (30 lakhs patient visits in the last 15 years), RCC stands tall in the health map of Kerala carrying out innovative and pioneering work in cancer control, treatment, research and training.
RCC is a comprehensive cancer centre with full-fledged departments of Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology and Paediatric Oncology supported by allied services such as Pathology, Imageology, Nuclear Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Microbiology, Transfusion Medicine, Laboratory services and Nursing services. The centre also has separate divisions for Community Oncology, Medical Records, Cancer Epidemiology, Cancer Research, Palliative Medicine, Dental Care, and Computerized Hospital Information System management. The information support for all these activities is provided by a wellorganized Library & Information Services division.

SURGICAL ONCOLOGY
On a day about 150-200 patients are seen in the various surgical OPD‟s and there are 84 inpatient beds under the purview of the division. The Division runs 6 major operation theatres and a minor operation theatre. On an average 25 major cases and 15 minor cases are operated on a day. All major cancer surgeries of the head and neck region, thorax, abdomen, breast, bone and sarcoma and gynecological malignancies are performed by well experienced faculty of the division. The division maintains a state-of-the-art intensive care unit with all modern facilities and also runs an endoscopic suite that offers all endoscopic diagnostic and therapeutic services.

MEDICAL ONCOLOGY
The Division of Medical Oncology provides state-of-the-art treatment for various
malignancies. It is the only one of its kind in the state with trained faculty and
international standard of care. Dose intense protocols and high dose chemotherapy are used when indicated. The division also runs a Bone Marrow Transplant unit which offers allogenic and autologous bone marrow transplantation at affordable costs to patients.

Duration of the Course: Duration of the Course shall be three years from the date
of commencement of the course. The date of commencement of the course will be
01/08/2012 or date of commencement as certified by the Director, RCC for those admitted later. The course is a full time residential course. Students will be provided stipend as per the Institution‟s norms and MCI regulations.

Eligibility for admission:
Applicants should have satisfied the following conditions:-
a) Nativity:
i. Should be an Indian Citizen
ii. Should have passed the PG Degree (MD/MS) from any of the Medical
Colleges in India, recognized by the Medical Council of India or DNB from an
institute in India, approved by the National Board of Examinations, New
Delhi.

b) Basic Academic Qualifications:
i. M.B.B.S. Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India
ii. Appropriate Post Graduate Degree (M.D/. M.S) recognized by the Medical
Council of India OR appropriate DNB of National Board of Examinations, New
Delhi.
 Appropriate Post Graduate qualification required for applying for the course will be MD/MS/DNB in the subjects noted below:
MCh Surgical Oncology MS/MD/DNB in General Surgery/ENT/Obstetrics and
Gynaecology/Orthopaedics
DM Medical Oncology MD/DNB in General Medicine/Paediatrics/Radiotherapy

Note: Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the MD/MS/DNB examination
may apply but the provisional or permanent PG Degree certificate should be produced at the time of counseling if selected, failing which admission will not be granted.
(iii)Candidates should have their MBBS/PG Degrees registered permanently with Medical Council (India/State).

c) Age: Upper age limit is 40 years, as on 30th April 2012. Age relaxation of five
years is applicable to all SC/ST candidates and RCC in-service candidates. Age
relaxation for Kerala Govt. Service candidates will be as decided by the Govt of
Kerala.
d) All candidates should qualify the Entrance Examination conducted by the Regional
Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala by securing minimum marks at the 50th percentile in the MCQ examination. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and
SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) the required minimum
marks in the entrance examination shall be at the 40
th
percentile and in case of
candidates with locomotor disabilities of lower limbs between 40% and 70%, the
required minimum marks shall be at the 45
th
percentile.
e) Persons with visual and hearing disability and locomotor disability involving upper
limb are not eligible for admission.
f) In-service quota
1. 25% of the seats in each speciality will be reserved for in-service candidates on a
rotation basis. For the academic year 2012-2013, the seat reservation will be as
given in the table below. In case there are no eligible candidates for these seats,
they will be filled in from the general merit list.

2. All in-service candidates should appear for the entrance examination
conducted by RCC and secure the qualifying marks in the MCQ examination.
3. To claim benefit under RCC in-service quota, the candidate should be a
permanent academic staff in the concerned department (Medical
Oncology) at the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram.
4. Candidates from the Kerala Government Service should produce endorsement
from the Director of Medical Education as in Form A of ANNEXURE I.

5. Selection to the Kerala Government Service quota will be made by the Director of
Medical Education from candidates who have qualified in the examination
conducted by RCC.


Fees:
1. Tuition fees Rs. 3,50,000/- per annum
2. Caution Deposit Rs. 10,000/- (refundable)
3. Examination fee – as applicable to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur
4. The tuition fees for in-service candidates will be as fixed by the Government of
Kerala.

How and when to apply:
a) Application forms for appearing in the Entrance Examination: – The
application forms are common for all candidates applying for the course. Candidates
seeking admission to the course should do online registration and complete the
application form provided in the website “www.rcctvm.org”. The Prospectus
and Annexures can be downloaded from the website www.rcctvm.org.
b) Step wise procedure on how to apply using Online Application Form:
1. The candidate has to visit www.rcctvm.org where he/she can find the link
„Online Application for PG Super Speciality Course 2012‟ for submitting
his/her application.
2. Step 1: The candidate will be directed to another page where he/she should
click the link „Candidate Registration‟. This is a one-time procedure. Fill in the
Name (Full Name as given in Degree and Medical Registration Certificates), Date of
birth (DD/MM/YYYY format), Age as on 30
th
April 2012, Nationality, Email ID and
Mobile Phone Number and select a password and press „Register‟. A „Confirmation Page‟ will be displayed. Select „Confirm‟ if all the information is correct. Once
registration is confirmed a unique „Application Number‟ will be displayed. Note
down the number and password. This is required for completing the application
process.
3. Step 2: Candidate Login
Candidate login is required to complete the rest of the steps of online application.
For login enter the Application Number and password.
4. Step 3: Upload Photograph: Once you are successfully logged in you will
be directed to upload the photograph. Photograph:-The candidate has to upload
his/her passport size photo in jpg format not more than 50 kb of size by clicking on
the browse button provided. Photographs must be taken on or after 1stMarch
2012, with a placard indicating name and date of birth. It must be a good quality
color 'STUDIO' photograph with light color background. The photograph should not
have Cap or Goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly. POLAROID and
COMPUTER / MOBILE PHONE generated photos are not acceptable.
Important : The candidate must upload the same photograph that is going to be
pasted in the print out of the application. The photograph should be firmly affixed to the print out of the application (in the space provided) by gum / fevicol and should not be pinned or stapled. The photograph affixed to the application form should be attested by a gazetted officer.

Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are
liable to be rejected.

5. Step 4: Complete Application Form. Click on the „Continue‟ button. Fill
the application form completely on-line. Details of the payment of Application fee
(Demand Draft) also needs to be entered in the application form.
6. If the candidate is fully sure that the data entered are correct in all respects,
he/she has to click the „Submit‟ button placed below the „Declaration‟ by the
candidate. The declaration is meant to state that all details entered by the candidate are true and no corrections will be requested for in future. Some preliminary validations on the data entered will be done during this stage. If the validation is not cleared, the candidate will have to look into all the errors shown in the page and correct it. Once all the corrections are made and the candidate is sure that all the entries are correct He/She can click the ‟Confirm‟ button and save his application or click Edit button to correct. When the ‟Confirm‟ button is clicked, the application will be saved and submitted. Last date for submitting the online application is 5th May 2012.

The „Application Number‟ of the candidate will also be displayed on the page. The
candidate is instructed to use the application number for further correspondence
with this office. The candidate will not be able to edit/modify/correct his application, once the ‟Confirm‟ button is clicked. If any of the details submitted are found incorrect, the candidature of the candidate will be cancelled.


7. Take a printout of the filled Application Form.

8. Affix passport size photograph (attested by a gazetted officer) in the space
provided. Use same photograph as the one uploaded.
9. Please do not alter the application form in anyway.
10. The candidate is advised to keep a photocopy of the application (complete
with photo and signatures) and keep it with him/her for reference.
11. Enclose self-attested copies of all required supporting documents as
mentioned in clause V (d).
12. Duly completed application must be accompanied by a Demand Draft
payable at State Bank of Travancore, Medical College Branch,
Thiruvananthapuram or any of its service branches payable at
Thiruvananthapuram for Rs.1500/-drawn in favor of “Director, Regional
Cancer Centre”. Application Fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
13. Certificates as in ANNEXURE I - No Objection Certificates (Form
A/B/C) should be enclosed in original along with the application. Candidates with
prior experience working in the concerned speciality should enclose Experience
Certificate as in Form D.
14. The completed and signed application form with all the necessary enclosures
should be sent to „The Director, Regional Cancer Centre, Medical College
Campus, Thiruvananthapuram – 695011‟ by Registered/Speed Post only
and should reach The Director, RCC, latest by 4.00 pm on 10th May 2012. The
envelope containing the application should be superscripted “APPLICATION FOR
MCh SURGICAL ONCOLOGY COURSE” or “APPLICATION FOR DM MEDICAL ONCOLOGY COURSE”.

c) Application of Kerala Government Service quota candidates: - The service
quota candidates should complete all the procedures mentioned in clause V (b). In
addition, they are also required to forward a copy of the printout of the application form, with copies of all required documents, to the controlling officer concerned (Director of Medical Education). This is mandatory as the final selection for these seats will be made by the Director of Medical Education from candidates who have qualified in the entrance examination conducted by RCC.

.Entrance Examination:
All candidates seeking admission for the courses will have to appear for the Entrance Examination. The Entrance Examination will be conducted in accordance with the schedule fixed by the MCI and RCC, Thiruvananthapuram. Any change in date and time of the exam shall be intimated by e-mail.

ELIGIBILITY: for admission to full time course a valid GATE score is essential. The application form and details regarding eligibility for each course are uploded on the website www.dce.edu. separate application forms must be submitted for courses offered by each department. The reservation for SC/ST/OBC category will be as per the approved policy of the Government of India.



Ph.D PROGRAMS:
Ph.D programs (Full time, Part time & Sponsored) are offered in the following academic departments:
Civil and Enviornmental Engg. electrical Engg./electronics & Communication Engg./ Mechanical & Production Eng./ computer Engg./ Information Technology/ Polymer Science & chemical technology/ Bio-technology eng./ applied Chemistry/ Applied Mathematics/ Applied Physics/ Management and Humanities. Eligibility and other details are available on DTU website: www.dce.edu.

The number of full time scholarships/ seats available for the academic session 2012-2013 is 17 (SC-06 & OBC-110. Scholarships are admissible as per rules of the University.

The number of Part Time and Sponsored seats depends upon the requirements of the concerned department.

The applicants shortlisted for Ph.d Programs are required to appear in the Entrance Examination and those applicants who will qualify in the entrance examination will be allowed to appear in the interview. No TA/DA is admissible for interview. Exemption from appearance in the entrance examination shall be as per the Ph.D ordinance of the University, the details of which are available on the webstie www.dce.edu. NET qualified candidates having UGC/CSIR Scholarship can also be considered for admission to full-time Ph.D programs. This would be in addition to the number of scholarships/ seats mentioned above.



The application form can be downloaded from DTU website www.dce.edu and the duly filled application form be submitted in the University along-with a DD of Rs.1000/- on or before the last date of receipt of completed application form.

The DD should be drawn in favour of "Registrar, Delhi Technological University", payable at Delhi.

Delhi Technological University will hold an Entrance Examination for admission to first year of the four year B.Tech. (Evening) Degree Program in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering, for the academic year 2012-13 on 24.06.2012 (Sunday).


The candidates, who
(a) Have passed State Board Diploma Examination in Engineering of Three year duration in any corresponding branch or any other examination, recognized equivalent there to by the Delhi Technological University with a minimum aggregate (aggregate of all six semesters/three years) of 55% (45% for SC/ST candidate).
(b) Have served for a period of not less than One year as on 1st day of September, 2012 in an established engineering works/organization, located in the NCT of Delhi and contiguous industrial areas shall be eligible to appear in the entrance examination.

The Bulletin of Information containing details of the admission procedure, Application form and Syllabi of the Entrance Examination is available from B.Tech. (Evening) office, Room No. FW1-FF4, Electrical Engineering Department, w.e.f. 23.04.2012 (Monday) on all working days (Monday to Saturday) between 2.00pm to 7.00 pm on submission of Crossed Bank Draft/pay order of Rs.1,000/- issued from State Bank of India only drawn in favour of ‘The Co-ordinator, B.Tech. (Evening)Entrance Examination-2012’ payable at Delhi.

Candidate desirous of obtaining the Bulletin of Information by post should send their request to the Deputy Co-ordinator (Admn.), B.Tech. (Evening) Office, Room No. FW1-FF4, Electrical Engineering Department, Delhi Technological University (Formerly Delhi College of Engineering), Bawana Road, Delhi-110042 enclosing the herewith a self addressed envelope (25cm X 18cm) and a crossed Bank Draft/Pay Order for Rs. 1,100/- from State Bank of India only. Request for issue the bulletin by post should reach the office on or before 03.05.2012 (Thursday). The last date of Sale of Application Form at DTU in person is 21.05.2012 (Monday) till 5.00 pm.

The completed Application Form should reach the Deputy, Co-ordinator(Admn.) on or before 21.05.2012 latest by 7.00 pm either in person or by post.


Applications received after 21.05.2012 will not be considered, in any case.

Special feature: On completion of this degree, basic modular courses with required sea experience are exempted from all written papers and directly (without Post-Sea courses) appear for the Mate Fishing Vessel oral examination leading to the issuance of Certificate of competency as Mate of a fishing vessel and also eligible for CDC as per MS notice 10 of 2010 dated 07.07.2010 subject to obtain a sponsoring letter from DG Shipping approved sponsoring agency.

Entry Qualification: 10 + 2 with minimum 50% marks in English 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% aggregate marks in other Science subjects. In the case of SC/ST students only a pass is required in the qualifying examination with above subjects.


The candidates who are appearing 10 + 2 examination during March, 2012 are also eligible to apply. However the selection will be made only through marks obtained in 10 + 2 and entrance examination.

Age limit: Minimum 17 years and Maximum 20 years as on 1st October, 2012.

Foreign National Quota – 1 seat

Mode of selection: Entrance Test (at Kochi, Chennai & Visakhapatnam), Academic Merit in (10 + 2) and Interview.

The Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical & Engineering Training (CIFNET) at Kochi/ Chennai/ Visakhapatnam offers career training to candidates in Vessel Navigator and Marine Fitter Trades which have been introduced by Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour, New Delhi under Craftsman Training Scheme of NCVT. The training courses of 24 months duration include basic practical training on board fishing vessels out at sea. The courses are scheduled to be commenced from 1st August 2012.

2. Applications in the prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the above courses through entrance examination to be held on 24th June 2012 at Kochi, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Kolkota, Delhi, Bhubaneswar & Bombay. If sufficient candidates are not available in particular centre, the next nearest centre will be allotted for appearing Entrance examination. Further, the selected candidates will be paid Rs.700/- (Seven hundred) per month as stipend.

3. Qualification:-
(i) Essential: Pass in 10th Standard (SSLC) or equivalent examination with 50% in Maths and Science separately. The candidates who are appearing 10th Examination during March 2012 are also eligible to apply. However the selection will be made only through marks obtained in 10th and Entrance examination.

(ii) Desirable: One year fishing experience. (iii) Age: 16 to 20 years as on 1st August 2012 candidates born between 02.08.92 and 02.08.96 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply. Upper age limit is relaxable to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates by 5 years.
