Council Of Scientific And Industrial Research (CSIR) will conduct the Joint CSIR-UGC Test on December 22, 2013 for determining the eligibility for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology.

Interested & eligible candidates may apply online by visiting CSIR, HRDG website www.csirhrdg.res.in. In order to apply Online the candidates are required to download Bank challan Performa from the above website and then deposit the requisite examination fee in any of the Indian Bank branches throughout the country.

The copy of online application form, duly completed with requisite enclosure should be sent by Ordinary post to the Sr. Controller of Examination, Examination Unit, Human Resource Development Group, CSIR Complex, Opposite Institute of Hotel Management, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi 110012 so as to reach Examination Unit CSIR on or before 27.08.2013.

For candidates applying from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J&K State, Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshdweep, the application form must reach the Sr.Controller of Examination CSIR on or before 02.09.2013.

Online applications without hard copy or bank challan receipt or incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected. Successful submission of online application does not mean that they have been registered for this test.

Examination fee paid through Bank Challan for a particular examination will neither be adjusted for any subsequent examination nor refunded under any circumstances. Candidates should also check all the columns of Bank Challan, online application, which are to be filled in properly to avoid cancellation of application, Fee submitted by any other mode like money order, demand draft, IPO etc. will be summarily rejected.

A candidate may apply either for ‘JRF’ OR for ‘Lectureship (LS) only’. He/she may indicate his/her preference in the Online Application, as the case may be. CSIR may consider candidates for ‘JRF’, or ‘Lectureship only” depending on number of fellowships available & performance in the test subject to the condition that they fulfill the laid down eligibility criterion.

2. Eligibility for admission:
i) Nativity : Applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
ii) Age: Candidate should not be over 45 years of age as on 31.05.2013, subject to a relaxation of five years in the case of SC/ST candidates and Service Quota candidates
iii) Academic Qualifications: BAM /Ayurvedacharya /BAMS from the colleges having CCIM recognition and BAMS Degree of Universities in Kerala or its equivalent degree recognized by the Universities of Kerala with 50% of marks for theory and practical separately in each subject. But exemption for minimum marks prescribed for admission for MD (Ay) is granted to the students who have passed the BAMS/BAM examination before 1995 from the Universities of Kerala without 50% of marks for theory and practical. Applicants who had completed compulsory internship on or before 31.05.2013 are eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination subject to the production of Internship Certificate from the Medical Council constituted in this regard.


3. Mode of selection: Selection of candidates except for the seats reserved under Service Quota for Medical Officer of the Department of I.S.M and the candidate sponsored by the Lakshadweep Administration will be made based on the Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram. The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram on 25.08.2013 (Sunday)). It will consist of Two Papers each of 2 hours duration and with 150 Objective type (Multiple choices) questions each.


4. Application forms: Prospectus and Online Application form will be available from 31.07.2013 onwards in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in . The Online Application procedure is common for General and Service candidates. Candidates seeking admission to this course can apply in the online application form provided in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations from 31.07.2013 to 12.08.2013, 3 pm and then remit the required fees at any State Bank of Travancore Branch using the Bank Chalan available with the print out .Candidates residing outside Kerala State can remit the application fee by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee is Rs.1000/- for General/Service candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates. The fee for Entrance Examination once remitted will not be refunded on any account. Application forms will not be sold from the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations or from the Directorate of Ayurveda Medical Education.

5. Candidates seeking admission against General merit seat should forward their completed application print out along with the Bank Chalan/ Demand Draft to theCommissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Building, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram - 695001, either by Registered post/Speed post/ hand delivery so as to reach him on or before 12.08.2013 (Monday) at 5 pm. Candidates applying against Service quota should submit their application print out with necessary documents/certificates and the chalan receipt to the Director, Directorate of Ayurveda Medical Education, Arogyabhavan, M.G. Road, Thiruvananthapuram, through their controlling officers, so as to reach him on or before 12.08.2013 (Monday) at 5 pm. Belated applications will not be accepted. Commissioner for Entrance Examinations or other officers will not be responsible for any postal delay.
6. Belated, incomplete, defective and wrongly addressed applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be undertaken in this regard. Candidates will not be allowed either to include any information in the application form or to submit any certificates or documents claiming reservation or any benefits, after the submission of the application, under any circumstances.
7. Admit Card:- Candidates will have the provision to download their Admit Card from the site www.cee.kerala.gov.in  with effect from 19.08.2013. Admit card will not be sent to the candidates by post.
8. SC/ST/SEBC candidates in Kerala should note that they have to obtain Community certificate/ Community certificate& income certificates in the body of the application form itself. The certificates received after the submission of the application print out will not be considered.
9. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will publish the rank list of candidates based on merit as assessed in the Entrance Examination and forward the same to the Director of Ayurveda Medical Education.
10. The selection and allotment of seats including those under Service Quota will be made by the Director of Ayurveda Medical Education, based on various provisions laid down in the Prospectus.

The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for its Central Sector Scheme Of Scholarship (CSSS) for College and University Students 2013.

Eligibility criteria:
a. The applicant should be an Indian national
b. The applicant should have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination 2013 conducted by CBSE and have secured the total aggregate marks (in first five subjects) equal or above the following minimum marks
as per the stream opted by the applicant: Science - 418; Commerce - 401; Others - 338
c. The applicant should be pursuing higher studies and have taken admission in Under Graduation regular
course (not correspondence or distance mode) from recognized educational institutions/university in India.
d. The applicant should not be availing any other scholarship.
e. Total annual income of parents of the applicant from all sources should not exceed Rs.4.5 lakh (Rerevised
to Rs. 6 lakh) per annum.
f. The applicant should not belong to creamy layer as defined by DoP&T from time to time. (This is applicable to all
categories of applicants both ‘general’ and ‘reserved’)

Number of scholarships will be distributed amongst pass out of the Science, Commerce and Humanities in ratio of 3:2:1. Reservation to SC, ST, OBC and PH will be as per guidelines of the Govt of India.

For renewal of Scholarship, applicant has to apply on separate renewal online form. Applicant should have passed in all the subjects in semester/annual examinations with not less than 60 % marks in the aggregate of 2 semester or annual examinations and have maintained 75 % attendance, good discipline and not involved in ragging activities etc.
Scholarship once cancelled will not be revived under any circumstances.

Last date of receipt of online application for CSSS-2013 is 30th September, 2013. Printout of online application form bearing Registration No. and other documents should reach “Assistant Secretary (Scholarship), 7th floor, CBSE, Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi- 110092” by Speed Post only on or before 30th September’2013.

The eligible candidates will have to appear in a written MCQ-type examination of 1 hour duration to be held in this Department on Aug 27, 2013 at 12-00 hr. The syllabus of this examination is the Physics M.Sc. syllabus of this University excluding Elective and Advanced Papers. The successful candidates will be called for an interview on Aug 29 and Aug 30, 2013. The final selection for joining this Department as a Ph.D. student will be on the basis of this interview.

The number of Ph.D. students that will be taken this time is at the most 10 (ten), if found suitable, including reservations (SC- 2, ST-1, PH-0, GEN-7) as per existing rules. 1.  Minimum qualification for the course is graduation or post graduation  in Life Sciences with any of  the subjects like  Biology, Pharmacology, Medical/Veterinary Sciences.
2.  The candidate should have proficiency in English and/Hindi since the medium of instruction will be English and Hindi.
3.  75% of the seats are  for in-service candidates holding permanent posts with the minimum educational qualifications and experience.  Preference will be given to candidates already working in the animal facilities.
4. 25% of the seats are allocated as per the current reservation rules.  For open candidates age limit should be more than 20 years.

Eligibility:
1. Executive Postgraduate Diploma In Hospital Administration (EPGDHA):
i. Bachelor’s Degree (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other attern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years of formal education) in any discipline and has been working at least 5 years in managerial or supervisory position in hospitals.
ii. Medical degrees (Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, Unani, Sidha and Dentistry), BSc Nursing, Post BSc Nursing, paramedical and allied health degrees in the fields of pharmacy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and other paramedical disciplines and have been working at least 5 years in hospitals in the areas of clinical administration or managerial/supervisory position.
iii. Other bachelor’s degrees like Engineering, Law and in any discipline or other degree holders and have been working in hospitals at least 5 years in the areas of managerial/ supervisory position.
iv. Candidate should be currently working in a hospital.
v. The minimum eligibility to apply is 45% of marks (35% for Scheduled Castes [SCs], Scheduled Tribes [STs] and OBC) or a Postgraduate degree (after completion of Bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal
